2007 GIMMICK RALLY

“It’s Not a Race”

Date:    Saturday, July 14

Time:    Registration between 2:30 and 3:00

Length of route:    Approximately 50 miles

Length of rally:    Approximately 1 1/2 hours

You will need time to read the instructions, so be there early enough to get oriented!

Location: We will meet in the parking lot of Choice One Bank & O’Malley’s Grill, 5080 Alpine NW, Grand Rapids .  This is approximately 2 l/2 miles north of I 96 on the east side of Alpine.

[A traffic advisory from Colin Carpenter for people accessing I-96 from US-131:  US-131 is under construction so expect delays. The last time I was through there you have to stay all the way to the right in order to get to the I-96 ramps.  If you stay left you are stuck there until West River Drive, north of where you want to be.]

Handy items to bring along:

If you aren’t interested in the rally part, or have other commitments during the day – come on up for the cookout between 5:00 – 5:30 to greet the weary wanderers!! BYOB and we’ll provide the good food and good company to wrap up the week.
