Tosi's Restaurant specializes in northern Italian cuisine and is widely renowned for the consistently high quality of its food and drink, warm hospitality and authenticity of its Italian dishes.  In 1965, was named by Time Magazines as "one of 22 restaurants (in the U.S.) well worth the trip. "And in 1997, Tosi's was one of only 2,052 restaurants worldwide to be listed in Wine Spectator magazine's 1997 Annual Guide To Great Wine Lists and Distinguished Dining Establishments!

The restaurant is housed in a large, rambling building surrounded by Italian gardens and imported Roman statues that sits on ten acres of land located on the western shore of Lake Michigan in Stevensville, Michigan.

Tosi's roots go back to 1938 when Anthony Tosi and his wife, Henrietta, opened a small summer resort in Stevensville to serve the Italian community of Cicero, Illinois. The resort had eight small cabins and a large common hall and was open from Memorial Day through Labor day to visitors from the Chicago area seeking the sun and sand of Lake Michigan and the special taste of Grandma Tosi's exceptional northern Italian food.

We will meet at 4:30 PM at Exit 49—the junction of 196 and 40 just outside of Holland. Look for the redhead and a group of gathering Porsches at the McDonald's/ BP Gas Station located on the northeast side of the exit ramps. We will be following the coast, avoiding the highways and exploring the possibilities on our way to a fabulous dinner at Tosi’s.

Your hosts will have maps featuring historical and hysterical landmarks along the route. Our reservation is set for 6:00 PM. The owner/manager has set a special menu just for this Club Event with a sample of a little of everything they have to offer. There will only be one check with the price set @ $25 per person—this includes tax and gratuity! Your hosts will be collecting the $25 at the start of the evening to avoid any confusion following dinner. Beverages — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic will be on a Cash basis per person. So mark your calendars now for something a little bit out of the ordinary!

We are planning a relaxing, late afternoon drive over the back roads to our dining destination. So mark your calendars now and plan on joining us for what should prove to be a unique dining experience!
