May 2008 Dinner Drive

The May 31st dinner drive destination is the 747 Neighborhood Bistro in Plainwell (http://www.the747.com). John and Marshall Walters are your hosts.

The restaurant just opened last June and one of the owners is a former 747 pilot (thus the name).  The 747 Bistro is located across the street from the Plainwell airport. In addition to a varied menu, with a focus on fresh ingredients, and full bar, the 747 Grill has a fantastic pastry chef who produces a large variety of decadent treats, so be sure to save room for desert! (Marshall's personal favorite is the sticky toffee pudding, although the canolis are good too!).

We will meet at the Park-n-Ride at the Bradley exit (Exit 61 off of US131) at 5:00. Departure is 5:30 for a 75 minute (or so) drive through Barry county, which includes a number of lakes and curvy tree-lined roads. Our drive will end at the restaurant (a little before 7:00).

Please RSVP to Marshall by 28th -- via e-mail at marshall.walters@watsonwyatt.com or via phone (616) 254-2610 (work) or (269) 672-5055 (home).
