JANUARY 10, 2001 CLUB MEETING

Meeting Held At: Gutheries began at 7:25PM

Members Present: Frank Koger, Michele Fisher, Bill Moses, Craig Ackerman, Kurt Wirth, Carol and Bob Friday, Annette and Renwick Brutus, Rick Riley, Skip Meyers, and Sally Nuerenberg.

Frank Koger was presented the gavel by outgoing president Craig Ackerman. The announcement of new officers for 2001-2003 followed: President-Frank Koger; Vice-President---Skip Meyers; Secretary---Sally Nuerenberg; Treasurer---Carol Friday.

December Minutes Approved.

Treasurer's Report: Carol filed a year-end report and stated that only one outstanding item from the Club Race remained with Grattan deposit for this year paid.

WWW.ISERV.NET/`WMR: 117 visitors to the site in December; 1607 visitors for 2000; the connection to national site has been live for 2 months and working well; UBER ACES continues to grow; John will bring a computer and projector to the WinterFest to drum up more interest and answer questions.

Membership Report/Advertising: 250+ members; a goal this year will be to have membership grow by 20%.

UBER ALLES Report: next articles due by Sat. Jan 13; since meetings will be last Wed. of the month it will be easier to meet UBER deadline.

Porsche Emporium Report: all set to bring entire inventory to WinterFest including ordering special items; 40th anniversary items will be there too.

Insurance Report: nothing new.

Activities Report: all articles have to be completed by the 10th of the month so Greg will be contacting people responsible by the end of each month.

IROC Report: Frank discussed with group and it was decided only date for our IROC would be July 15; discussion further with John Nuerenberg to organize another Boxster Stampede on that day will follow.
We host the IROC dinner this year and ideas were shared but nothing has been finalized.

President's Report: Enthusiast for 2001-2002: Bill Moses and Craig Ackerman did a presentation on the point system and how it would work; it was designed to be individual but later can be adapted to a family; Bill will bring the trophy to WinterFest with information.
It was decided anyone attending WinterFest would receive 10 points to initiate interest.

Meeting Places for 2001, esp. March: disccussion held earlier; see UBER calendar for information.

Charity for 2001: Frank announced it would continue to be Building Block and that Laurie Tepper would chair our liaison position. She will make a presentation to the membership at WinterFest.

Old Business: None

New Business: WinterFest 2001: Invitations have been/will be sent out-must RSVP to Carol Friday by Feb. 1st. No door prizes will be given, just awards to those who have contributed this year to events. Michael Betz will be contacted to be MC.

Parade 2001: Frank reminded membership that the application was in Pano and needed to be filled out by 1/15/01 to insure participation.

NASCAR Silicone Motor Speedway Challenge: possibility of hosting this event at Rivertown Crossing Mall for the 3 regions. They have 12 cars and teams could be formed combining the regions. Frank will submit an article to UBER.

OPEN FORUM: Kurt reminded membership of the Feb. dinner drive to the Schnitzelbank Restaurant on the 21st of Feb. at 6:30PM.
