APRIL 25, 2001 CLUB MEETING

Meeting Held At: Schnitzelbank Restaurant at 7:15PM

Members present: Bob and Carol Friday, Annette and Renwick Brutus, John Boockmeier, Craig Ackerman, Frank Koger, Jill and Colin Carpenter, Rick Riley, Don Meyer, Larry Baum, Michele Fisher, Bill and Marilyn Moses, and Kurt Wirth.

February Minutes Approved.

Treasurer's report: Carol stated, "Uneventful."

WWW.ISERV.NET/~WMR: 157 for the previous month representing a 4.1% increase; 4,128 total visitors; 106 members of UBER ACES.

Membership Report/Advertising: 3 new members; will send out invoices for advertising next month.

UBER ALLES Report: Michele needs articles for: Michiana IROC directions; Spring Up info.; June Dinner Drive; meeting places for June and July(discussed later).

Porsche Emporium Report: prices will be in next UBER and on website.

Insurance Report: club needs insurance forms for next dinner drive.

Activities Report: nothing new.

IROC Report: Frank related that our club's date of July 15 is secure but we need to know the number for the caterer.

President's Report: Frank told highlights of the meeting March 10 in Columbus, Ohio-49,285 members nationwide; they bought new computers last year and this year are working on new facilities; sales in USA over 24,000; discussion of whether to allow 16/17yr. olds to participate in IROC's as part of a family.

Old Business
Enthusiast for 2001/2002-update will be in UBER and website
April Dinner Drive was a success with about 30 people attending.

New Business
May Meeting location on Wed. May 30 at Zoom Group per Scott Butz, mgr.-hotdogs will be served.
John Boockmeier announced the W. MI. Auto Auction would be having a car show and carnival on June 16.
Sky Blue BBQ at Larry and Earlene Brown's on Sat. May 19 will start with a drive at 4PM meet at D&W parking lot in Caledonia. Info in UBER and web-reservations should be in by May 12.
Bill Moses volunteered his cottage for the June 27th meeting at 7PM. Directions to Payne Lake will be in UBER and web.

OPEN FORUM
Road Atlanta, Club Race update-6 cars from our region attended; good track but not an hospitable experience.
Boxster Stampede and Autocross lunch-it was decided the tire rep would get free IROC entrance as well as, owner of Auto Auction. Lunch number still not settled.
Rick announced a Driver's Ed. Day at Grattan on Memorial Day--$85/dy. 3-4 runs possible
Discussions of Spring Up: all rooms must be reserved by May 4th; Craig has set up breakfast for 7:30AM on Sunday. We caravan up from Rosie's Diner-breakfast at 7AM, leave by 8:30AM
