MARCH 5, 2002 CLUB MEETING

Meeting at Alan Christian Motors in Holland started at 7:00PM

Members Present: John and Sally Nuerenberg, Jack Decker, Arnie Axelrod, Barry and Candis Collick, Craig Ackerman, Rick Riley, Don Hasselbring, Bob and Carol Friday, John Boockmeier, Vic Trohn, Skip Meyers and Erwin Register.

Minutes from January and February were approved.

Treasurer's Report was given and approved.

Webmaster's Report: John N. reported 132 UBER ACES members; gave John B. a list of updated returned e-mail addresses (listed from Nationals).

Membership Report: John B. reported 5 new members.

UBER ALLES Report: Candis apologized for typos and clarified some issues. She will be getting new ads electronically. Candis devised a 10 pt. questionnaire regarding WinterFest to be sent with next UBER; a similar one will run online at our website; all input given to Arnie; Craig will grant bonus points for returns. Candis reminded everyone all articles due on the 10th of every month. We gave Candis a round of applause for superb first issue of UBER.

Insurance Report: Kurt was ill but those present voted on sending a postcard to past participants a notice of a Grattan mid -week event.

Activities Report: Arnie reminded us of Chili Madness event this coming Saturday. He stated there was a limited response to joining the WinterFest committee. Craig will e-mail Arnie with hotel information for Spring Up event. John N. will ask Zoom Auto to allow us to use space at their facility for our May meeting on Wed. May 8. Claudio and Brenda will host the June meeting and July's meeting is TBA.

IROC Report: nothing new.

President's Report:
Frank reported to Skip the following information: Frank attended the 2002 President's Meeting and these issues were discussed: members being non-Porsche owners; age of drivers was debated for IROC and Driver's Ed events; concourse rating/class discussion. Rick talked about scheduling during the Parade and the "procedural problems".
Frank will be scheduling a special meeting with board members and chair people in the next two weeks and will contact people by e-mail.
We have received our 1st quarter PCA membership rebate of $686.00.
2002 Boise Parade is already sold out.

Old Business
Grattan Bar-Rick reported for Kurt that it was a good time and turn out was also excellent.

New Business
Chili Night-this Saturday-19 have signed up so far, but website is encouraging more calls.
2003 Election Committee Chair is Rick Riley and he will have an article for the website.

OPEN FORUM:
Candis announced that the Drive to Drummond has 16 people and 8 cars so far.
The membership present discussed supporting a
charity and how to spend our treasury.
