Club Minutes for April 5, 2004

Carol called the meeting to order at 7:01PM at East Imports

Members present were: Carol Friday, Kurt Wirth, Brenda Hildon, Bob Malone, Eric Spross, Rick Riley, Craig Ackerman, Doug Tepper, Duane Weed, Craig Paull

Minutes: The March minutes were approved.

Treasurer: The Treasurer's report was approved.

Webmaster: Carol proposed a discussion at a later date about what will be put in the Uber and on the Web from other regions.

Membership/Advertising: Eric Spross reported 261 members. 6 new members. 2 new Cayenne Turbos.

UBER: No report

Insurance: Kurt had nothing new to report.

IROC: Doug would like verification that Frank Koger will be the IROC rep. Doug has the contract for the Ionia IROC for June 27th. A $100 deposit is required. Doug will work with Kurt to get the proper insurance forms. There will be a second IROC July 25 at Spartan Speedway. MIR IROC will be August 28th - a SATURDAY.

Activities: Bob mentioned that Lorraine needs some clarification about forms for Dinner Drive/Activity guidelines. Carol mentioned that it should be a checklist to be given to Chairpersons prior to their event. Carol will email some ideas to Lorraine.

OLD BUSINESS:

WinterFest: We have 26 remaining wine glasses available for purchase - $2.00 ea. Contact Brenda Hildon if interested. Will have Michael B. post on the Web.

Drummond Island: There were 7 attendees and a great time was had by all. Excellent snowmobiling conditions.

Schnitzelbank Dinner Drive: There were approx. 30 attendees. Excellent time had by all.

NEW BUSINESS:

Cayenne Wings @ The Schiebles, April 17th.

OPEN FORUM:

Rennesport Reunion-Daytona International Speedway. April 23-25. Porsche Club National Website has more information listed under the club racing schedule.
