Arnie called the meeting to order at 7:02PM at Delta Imports

Members present were: Arnie Axelrod, Dave Reid, Kurt Wirth, Eric Spross, Barry Collick, Brenda Hildon, Colin Carpenter, Rick Riley, Doug Tepper, Craig Ackerman, Bob Malone, Colin Carpenter

Minutes: Approved.

Treasurer: Approved.

Webmaster: Arnie stated that the website is looking great. Renee is also doing a great job with Uber Aces.

Membership: Eric reported two new memebers from Grand Rapids – Chuck & Sherry Staler (sp?). Eric’s computer is currently not functioning but he hopes to have it repaired soon. There was a typographical error listed in the Uber on the ad for name badges, however, it is correct on the opening page of the Uber.

Advertising: John Kilgren has volunteered to fill the position of Advertising Chair.

UBER: Barry Collick, on behalf of Candis, reported that Car & Driver would like to place an ad for their 50th Anniversary celebration, taking place July 24 and 25th at IRP. Cost of mailing has increased due to the Grattan inserts and the additional mailings to our advertisers. The membership list has not been updated so far this year.

Insurance: Insurance for the June dinner drive is set. IROC insurance is in process.

IROC: Spartan Autocross was successful – 17 Porsche drivers and 16 non-Porsche drivers. 5 members of WMR were present: Colin Carpenter, Doug Tepper, Paul & Renee Krapp, Gary Schultz. Doug received FTD. Dunlap gave away a set of tires at the event – we may try to arrange for a similar give-away at our event in August. All classes according to PCR (Parade Classifications Rules) have been changed – fewer classes more groups. Our IROC will be held 8/7 at the Ionia Fairgrounds. Doug is looking for other locations to hold our IROC event in the future.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:

Rennick forwarded information regarding a car rally at Shanks On Ice in Kalamazoo. Involves many different car clubs. More info to follow.

Roy Wilkinson thanks those who have donated to the Parade’s 2005 Zone 4 Hospitality room.

OLD BUSINESS:

May Dinner Drive – Grand Haven: Randy & Linda Porttoluri hosted this event. Great turnout.

Grattan: There are 17 participants signed up for the event as of today.

NEW BUSINESS:

June Dinner Drive 6/8: Hosted by Arnie & Val Axelrod in Ada.

June Formula One 6/18,19: There will not be an organized WMR event in association with the Formula One event.

June Spring Up 6/25: Traverse City. RSVP by June 17th.

July Dinner Drive – Bay Pointe Inn: Hosted by John & Marshall Walters. Addtl. info. listed in the the Uber.

WMR IROC 8/7: Will be held at the Ionia Fairgrounds. Contact Doug Tepper.
