Arnie called the Planning Meeting to order at 7:20PM at Pietro’s

Members present were: Arnie Axelrod, Kurt Wirth, Rick Riley, Amber Door, Larry Baum, Craig Ackerman, Colin Carpenter, Brenda Hildon, Barry & Candis Collick, Duane Weed, David & Kris Reid, Ted Blacklidge, Renwick Brutus, Sarah Spencer-Smith (Make-A-Wish Foundation)

The nominating committee (consisting of Rick Riley, Kurt Wirth, Craig Paull, Colin Carpenter and Doug Tepper) recommended, and the members present approved, the following for 2006:

President: David Reid
Vice President: Ted Blacklidge
Treasurer: Amber Door
Secretary: Brenda Hildon

NEW BUSINESS:

November Dinner Drive: November 9 @ Ichiban Restaurant in Grand Rapids. Hosted by David Reid.

Delta Imports will be hosting an open house for the introduction of the new 911 C4 on November 14th from 5-8pm. RSVP 616-988-9797. Delta will also be hosting an open house for the introduction of the Cayman S Coupe in Mid January. Details to follow.

Appetizer Party: December 3rd at the home of Bob & Carol Friday. Details in the Uber and on the web.


OPEN FORUM:

Craig Ackerman presented Sarah Spencer-Smith of the Make-A-Wish Foundation with $2000.00 from the fundraising effort at Grattan in September. Sarah mentioned that a 14 year old named Brian, ill with a form of leukemia, will be the recipient of our funds. The funds will be used toward his wish to go on a shopping spree at Best Buy.

Members present discussed the 2006 calendar. The activities that were suggested will be listed in the next issue of the Uber, subject to change. There are spaces available for additional activities - suggestions are welcome and highly encouraged.
