Minutes of the West Michigan Region of the Porsche Club of America

May 1, 2006

Ted called the meeting to order at 6:55PM at Delta Imports

Members present were: Ted & Gabi Blacklidge, Amber Door, Arnie Axelrod, Kurt Wirth, Brenda Hildon, Rick Riley, Colin Carpenter, John Kilgren, Marshall Walters

Minutes: Approved.

Treasurer: Approved.

Webmaster: Kurt reported the Grattan registration is on the web.

Membership: No report.

Advertising: John spoke with Delta and we are going to do a half page ad with them. He will be working with their marketing group to come up with the artwork. John is also working on billing advertisers who haven’t submitted payment as of today.

UBER: Candis will need materials/info for the next Uber ASAP.

Insurance: Kurt will get insurance info to the Blacklidge’s, and Walter’s for their upcoming events.

Driving Events: IROC is scheduled for August 6th. More info to follow.

Activities: Shine & Show is May 13th. The Gilmore event will be July 19th.

Enthusiast Award Report: No report.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT: No report.

NEW BUSINESS:

May 13 Shine & Show: At Delta Imports, hosted by Eric & Lina Spross

May 20 Dinner Drive: Gun Lake/ Sam’s Joint. RSVP the Walters by May 16th.

June 3 Gimmick Rally – For those that signed up @ WinterFest, please RSVP the Blacklidge’s again.

June 24 Spring Up to Traverse City – Hosted by the Weise’s. Island Theme w/band.

OLD BUSINESS:

Schieble Cook- Off: There was a great turnout. Fun was had by all. Colin Carpenter won Judge’s Choice; Brenda Hildon won People’s Choice.

Logo: We will table the issue until we see what Dave brings from his graphic designer.
