Zone 4 Website | Minutes of the West Michigan Region of the Porsche Club of AmericaFebruary 2, 2009Delta Imports, Grand Rapids – Meeting was called to order by Ted Blacklidge at 7:00pm. Members present were: Ted and Gabi Blacklidge, Dan and Ren Phillips, Amber Door, Brenda Hildon-Kaempf, John Kilgren, Rick Riley, Kurt Wirth, Eric and Lina Spross. Minutes: Approved. Treasurers Report: Approved. Webmaster: No report. Membership Report: 245 Primary Members, 200 Affiliate Members – total 445. New members are: John and Barbara Bilow, Grawn, ’06 Cayman S, Bradley and Barbara Fitch, Traverse City, ’03 Boxter S. Transfers In: 0. Transfers Out: 0. Non-renewals: 3, Renewals: 11. Advertising: We are waiting for payment from a couple of advertisers. Working with Haggerty to get them back in the Uber. We’ve corrected the copy for Delta. Uber: Uber should be in the mailbox this week. Ren is looking for a new printer. She should have an update by the next meeting. The Uber will now be in PDF format on the website and Amber will email the PDF to new members. Insurance: Kurt has nothing new to insure. Driving Events: Grattan DE – Sunday all-day event. Sept 18, 19, 20. Eric Spross has volunteered to be our marketing director for this event. If anyone else is interested in this position, please contact Eric. The Zone 4 website lists all of the DE events. We are attempting to list our DE event in other region’s publications. Old Business: January DD – Leo’s, Grand Rapids. Hosted by Rick Riley. 10 attendees enjoyed the evening. New Business: · WinterFest Update – 29 attendees to date. Everything is set. Zone 4 Representative Roy Wilkinson will be attending. · Morning After - Amber has made a preliminary reservation for 20 people at Charlie’s Crab · March DD – Grattan Bar, March 11 @ 7pm. Details to follow in the Uber and on the web. · Parade – Colorado. July 1. Registration March 2,3,4. Accepting 1,000. · 50th Anniversary – Planning is beginning. We need volunteers and ideas!
